After graduating from Portsmouth High School, Monica Dorley attended Boston University as a scholar–athlete and was captain of the women’s field hockey team, where she was named All-American. After working in the design industry for over 10 years, she set out on her own to pursue more creative work and freedom and started Fast Girl Productions in 2006. Monica has dabbled in standup comedy and performed as part of an ensemble cast in “Period. The End?” at 3S Artspace in October 2022. She lives in her mid-century modern dream house with her wife, Jen Scumaci (aka DJ Skooch), and their two elderly pugs.
