Dane is a passionate storyteller with over 40 years of experience reading to children, witnessing the profound impact stories have on young minds. As a former educator, administrator, and head of two independent schools, Dane has dedicated his career to shaping children’s ability to connect, focus, and trust. A retired grandparent of four, he also runs Dane’s Education Blog, which explores topics for children, parents, and educators, featuring TED Talks and over 100 published articles. Dane’s extensive experience extends to nonprofit leadership and board consulting, having served as a Captain in the USMC and on 13 nonprofit boards.
